Desserts in Buffalo just got a little sweeter. The team at Frost Artisan Bakery is delighted to announce the opening of our city’s only cupcake bar. If you’ve ever wanted to create your own cupcake, here’s your chance. Here’s what to expect from this new experience at Frost.
How Does Frost’s Cupcake Bar Work?
To start your build-your-own cupcakes session, you’ll first choose a cupcake flavor from the following selection:
- Carrot cake
- Chocolate cake
- Red velvet cake
- Specialty flavor of the month
- White cake
- Yellow cake
Then, you’ll pick your desired filling:
- Bavarian cream
- Blueberry
- Cookies and cream
- Fudge
- Ganache
- Lemon
- Peanut butter mousse
- Raspberry
Next, you’ll pick your favorite frosting flavor. Here’s a sampling of what you can select:
- Almond buttercream
- Chocolate buttercream
- Cream cheese
- Ganache
- Specialty flavor of the month
- Strawberry buttercream
- Vanilla buttercream
Finally, you’ll top off your custom cupcake creation. Below are only some of the many toppings available:
- Assorted sprinkles
- Chocolate curls
- Chopped walnuts
- Mini chocolate chips
- Sliced almonds
- Toasted coconut
While the cupcakes you create are limited only by your imagination, our Frost Originals can be a good place to get you started, such as Chocolate Bliss, Peanut Butterlicious, Strawberries & Cream, and Sweet Almond.

Our cupcake bar is open during our regular bakery hours, Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. You’ll find us at 1197 Niagara St. in Buffalo.
